Performance Development under a medical model

MAX Performance at Spectrum Rehab

At MAX Performance we believe that each and every athlete has the potential to achieve a greater expression of his or her athletic self.  Our mission is to combine the science of proper training and nutritional protocols, the psychological leadership and technological expertise of experienced coaches, and the athlete's innate inner resources in order to bring each athlete to his or her fullest potential, all in the safest and most productive environment possible.

Training Programs Designed To Improve:

  • Strength and Power
    • All performance development hinges on the development of optimal levels of strength and power.  Programs will focus on perfecting technique and building total body strength through an emphasis of major compound movements.
  • Sprint Mechanics and Speed
    • Linear speed will be developed by teaching and training the biomechanical principles of proper sprint technique and by developing the muscular and metabolic systems specific to the demands of sprinting.
  • Flexibility
    • Optimal levels of sport-specific flexibility will be achieved through a combination of proper exercise technique, dynamic warm-ups and stretching, and more aggressive modalities such as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF).
  • Agility
    • Agility will be developed through a combination of biomechanical instruction, increased relative strength, and by training the body's ability to utilize plyometric forces

PROGRAMS ALSO FOCUS ON INJURY PREVENTION, COMBINE PREPARATION, SPORT-SPECIFIC PROTOCOLS, REHABILITATION TRAINING, AND NUTRITIONAL PROGRAMMING
