How Do I Receive Therapy and Have the Visits Process Through My Insurance ?

Contact you physician and have them refer you to Spectrum Rehab;  this may require a physician visit where you will receive a  prescription/script.. Once we have a script from the physician and your contact information, we will contact you and obtain your relevant personal & insurance information and schedule a visit. We will contact your insurance company and get authorization for therapy and find out what your plan's benefits are. You the option to fill out your paperwork before your first visit or come by and pick it up and fill it out prior to your first visit. My child sprained their ankle/had a sports related injury. Would they benefit from therapy at Spectrum Rehab ?

Absolutely. Spectrum Rehab is uniquely qualified to rehabilitate a sports/orthopedic injury or surgery. Our manual therapists utilize their skills to restore full ROM (Range Of Motion) as quickly as possible and get them back into the sport faster, more effectively and safer than anyone else can in Colorado Springs: we have state of the art equipment, 2 heated hydrogen peroxide pools  for patients who are partial weight bearing, limping, have gait problems, etc.., Spectrum has a performance development division called MAX Performance where we train post injured and healthy athletes including Olympians. No other Rehab facility in Colorado Springs has this relationship, nor do they have the results that we generate on a regular basis

I have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.  How can Spectrum Rehab help me ?

These are diagnosis that we treat everyday. Many suffer with the symptoms associated with these conditions and accept them as getting older. This should not be the case. With osteoporosis, bone responds to stress by making more bone. Spectrum has special machines that no other rehab facility in town has. These machines gently deal with reversing this condition. In addition, our therapists utilize their manual skills to maintain joint health and range of motion, prescribe and walk you through exercise programs that gently place your body under stress  producing more bone. We also have access to an onsite heated pool for those individuals who would benefit from a gravity reduced environment.

For arthritic patients, we have equipment that our competition does not have that can gently strengthen muscles that support joints without stressing them. Our therapist will utilize their manual skills to maintain joint health and increase range of motion. And our heated hydrogen peroxide pools are an excellent tool we use for our arthritic population in addition to therapy on land.
