John Holdefer PTA (email) John and Rosemary’s favorite son is a graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. Spring of 1982. Having received his B.S., he left to work as both a Production Scheduler and Schedule Planner for the Timken Co. here in Colorado Springs. Timken closed its doors 10 years later and moved to Arkansas allowing him to do what he’d always dreamed of: return to school in his late 30’s. Proudly, he graduated from Pueblo Community College as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Spring of 1999. In 16 years at the Penrose System he met many of his present friends/co-workers, the ties that brought him to his present position at Spectrum. Kelli Warren PTA, CKTP (email) Kelli graduated from Pima Medical Institute in February of 2009 with Associates in Occupational Studies and received a Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Prior to being a PTA, Kelli graduated with a Associates of Arts with an emphasis in Biology from Arizona Western College and has worked many years in the medical field as a Dialysis Technician and being a National Certified EMT-B. She had the great pleasure of volunteering at one of the top neuro-rehabilitation centers in the country, Craig Hospital, for several months. More on a personal note, Kelli is a very competitive athlete that has been involved in all levels of competition throughout her life. For 12 years she played competitive soccer and in addition played competitive softball for 9 years and 2 years at college level. She conducted the strengthening and conditioning clinic for her college softball team and pitched for the men baseball team’s batting practice. Kelli and her spouse are currently training their two personal canines to pass the Canine Good Citizen and the Therapy Dog International test in order to register them as therapy dogs and begin working with patients in an inpatient and possible outpatient rehab settings. Through her involvement in sports and now becoming a PTA, Kelli knows what it is like to be on both sides of the therapy table, and knows what it takes to return to your full potential. Sara Henrichsmeyer PTA (email) Sara graduated from Southwestern Illinois College as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2009. She moved to Colorado Springs from Illinois in May of 2009 and started working PRN in June for an OP clinic. Sara has now become a part of the Spectrum Team starting in November 2009. Sara is currently working at our Widefield location. She loved the idea of being a PTA to learn more about how the body works and how to repair it when and injury occurs. Sara enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, softball and gymnastics. Sara also loves going to the movies, swimming, and hanging out in the hot tub!! Patricia Zello PTA (email) Patricia Zello graduated as a PTA from Pueblo Community College in 2006. She has always wanted to work with people in a health care setting. Upon graduation from high school she decided physical therapy was the aspect in which she wanted to help people heal and has not thought twice about this decision. She has worked PRN since graduation and many wonderful relationships have been formed on this journey. Traveling is her delight and one of her life’s goals is to visit every continent at least once. So far she has traveled to Africa, Europe and of course North America. |
